Introduction
HepatocyteGrowthFactor(HGF)isamultifunctionalgrowthfactorwhichregulatesbothcellgrowthandcellmotility.Itexertsastrongmitogeniceffectonhepatocytesandprimaryepithelialcells.HGFsynergizeswithInterleukin-3andGM-CSFtostimulatecolonyformationofhematopoieticProgenitorcellsinvitroandmay,therefore,alsomodulatehematopoiesis.
