UMPSHumanRecombinantproducedinSf9Baculoviruscellsisasingle,glycosylatedpolypeptidechaincontaining486aminoacids(1-480a.a.)andhavingamolecularmassof53kDa(MolecularsizeonSDS-PAGEwillappearatapproximately50-70kDa).UMPSisexpressedwitha6aminoacidHistagatC-Terminusandpurifiedbyproprietarychromatographictechniques.
