Introduction
LAMTOR4 is implicated in amino acid sensing and activation of mTORC1,which is a signaling complex promoting cell growth in response to growthfactors, energy levels, and amino acids. LAMTOR4 is activated by amino acids viaa mechanism which involves the lysosomal V-ATPase, the Ragulator functions as aguanine nucleotide exchange factor activating the small GTPases Rag. Activated Ragulatorand Rag GTPases both function as a scaffold recruiting mTORC1 to lysosomeswhere it is sequentially activated.
Description
LAMTOR4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 122 amino acids (1-99 a.a) andhaving a molecular mass of 13.1kDa.LAMTOR4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
LAMTOR4 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) containing 20mMTris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
