Introduction
Homeobox C11 (HOXC11) is a member of the Abd-B homeobox family. Thehomeobox genes encode well conserved family oftranscription factors that play a vital role in morphogenesis in allmulticellular organisms. HOXC11 is one ofnumerous homeobox HOXC genes placed in a cluster on chromosome 12. HOXC11attaches to a promoter element of thelactase-phlorizin hydrolase. HOXC11 also takes part in early intestinaldevelopment. An alternatively spliced variantencoding a shorter isoform has been defined however, its full-length nature hasnot been determined.
Description
HOXC11 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 327 amino acids (1-304 a.a.) andhaving a molecular mass of 36.1kDa. HOXC11 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
HOXC11 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mMTris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M UREA and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 80.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
