Introduction
N-6 Adenine-Specific DNA Methyltransferase 1, also known as N6AMT1 ispart of the methyltransferase family. N6AMT1 is implicated in the methylationof release factor I during translationtermination. In addition, N6AMT1 is involved in converting the arsenicmetabolite monomethylarsonous acid to the less toxic dimethylarsonic acid.
Description
N6AMT1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 237 amino acids (1-214 a.a) andhaving a molecular mass of 25.3kDa.
N6AMT1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
N6AMT1 protein solution (0.25 mg/ml) containing Phosphatebuffered saline (pH7.4), 20% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
