Introduction
Gltathione S-transferase PI 2, also known as GSTP2 is multifunctional enzyme which is involved in the protection of cellular components against anti-cancer drugs or peroxidative stress. Furthermore, down regulation of GSTP2 induces an increase of oxidative damage in the pyramidal cells of the CA1&CA3 regions as well as in the granular layer of the dentate gyrus, which at the end leads to structural and functional damage.
Description
GSTP2Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptidechain containing 210 amino acids (1-210 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.5kDa.The GSTP2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
TheGSTP2 protein solution (0.5mg/ml) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) and20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA orBSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
